Ministry of Interior Launches Nationwide Security and Traffic Campaign

Traffic Campaign Kuwait

The Ministry of Interior launched a wide-scale security and traffic campaign at dawn on Thursday, July 31, 2025, under the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef.

The campaign, aimed at apprehending wanted individuals, outlaws, and violators of traffic and residency laws, was carried out with the participation of the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Emergency Police, and the Private Security Affairs Sector. Operations were conducted across main and secondary roads throughout the country.

During the campaign, 934 traffic violations issued, 13 individuals arrested for violating residency and labor laws, 6 individuals arrested without identification documents, 9 wanted persons apprehended, 3 minors arrested for driving without a license, 1 individual arrested in an abnormal state, 2 individuals arrested in possession of suspected narcotics and alcohol, 1 person arrested for absconding and 1 person referred to precautionary detention.

The Ministry confirmed that such campaigns will continue across all regions, stressing the importance of law enforcement and calling on the public to cooperate with security personnel to help maintain the safety and security of society.
