Kuwait’s Labor Market Thrives with 169 Nationalities in 2025

Kuwait has strengthened its position as a top destination for foreign workers. Thanks to its stable living conditions, modern infrastructure, and worker-friendly environment, Kuwait continues to attract talent from around the world.

Currently, foreign workers from 169 different nationalities are employed in Kuwait. This diversity highlights the open and multicultural nature of Kuwaiti society, which welcomes skilled workers in many important sectors such as health, education, construction, oil, services, and technology.

The country’s legal system also helps protect workers' rights and supports peaceful coexistence between people of different backgrounds.

According to the latest official data, Kuwait’s total workforce includes about 2.21 million workers. Of these, 1.72 million are men and 489,500 are women. This number includes both Kuwaiti and foreign workers, reflecting the country's strong demand for human resources.
