Civil Service Commission Announces September 4 Holiday for Prophet’s Birthday
Kuwait’s Civil Service Commission (CSC) has declared Thursday, September 4, as an official holiday for all ministries, government agencies, and public institutions on the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday for the year 1447 AH.
In a statement posted on its official X account, the CSC confirmed that regular government operations will resume on Sunday, September 7.
The Commission added that authorities and agencies with specialized responsibilities may set their own work schedules during the holiday, in line with operational needs and the public interest.
