Expect Delays! Key Kuwait Roads Under Maintenance

KUWAIT CITY, July 18: The General Traffic Department has announced temporary road closures due to scheduled maintenance work in multiple areas.



Abdulkarim Al-Khattabi Street (Fifth Ring Road) in the direction of Salmiya will be closed from Issa Al-Qatami Street to Oman Street towards Jahra starting Friday, July 18, 2025. The closure will remain in effect until Monday, July 21, 2025. Motorists are urged to follow traffic signs and use alternative routes during this period.




Additionally, beginning the evening of Thursday, July 17, 2025, the safety lane and right lane on King Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Road (Road 30) heading toward Salmiya will be closed. The entrance to the Fourth Ring Road and the entrance to Cairo Street toward Kuwait City will also be inaccessible until the road maintenance work is completed.
